2 arrested for trespassing, firearms offenses while hunting

BIGLERVILLE, Pa. (WHTM) -

State police in Gettysburg arrested two men who were reportedly trespassing and violating hunting laws.

On December 14, 31-year-old Issaac Dugan Perkins of Orlando, Fla. and 30-year-old Isaiah Mark Perkins of Fayetteville were found on a farm in Franklin Township in possession of semi-automatic rifles.

Neither had on proper fluorescent orange as required by the Game Code.

Authorities said only Isaiah Perkins had a hunting license; Issaac Perkins is a convicted felon and was prohibited from possessing a firearm of any type.

According to state police, Isaiah Perkins supplied Issaac with the rifle with which he was found.

Isaiah Perkins also had a semi-automatic pistol concealed in his vehicle, but he had a suspended CCW permit out of Florida, and no permit in Pennsylvania.

Both men were charged with multiple felonies concerning firearms offenses, defiant trespass and numerous charges under the PA Game Code. Both were arraigned and are awaiting preliminary hearings on their charges.
