Prominent ESPN columnist and NFL insider Chris Mortensen is reporting that a deal between Penn State football coach Bill O'Brien and the NFL's Houston Texans is imminent.
The report says a deal is expected within the next 24 hours for O'Brien to be announced as the team's new coach.
We went out to find out what your thoughts were on a possible move by O'Brien.
"He's gotta do what's right for him and his family," said Greg Minnich of Enola. "It's his decision but I think that he would have to deal with some sort of guilt involved with dealing with the players that he let down. I'm sure there's going to be a lot of heartbreak."
"I think I would be upset by it," said Sarah Kopp of Harrisburg. "I think a lot of Penn Staters would be upset. It would definitely be a shame to see him go if he decides to do that."
"I think it would be a great move for him to leave for his own personal gain, his own career moves," said Jacques Brown of Harrisburg. "But Penn State needs a constant, steady coach after the Paterno situation and the Sandusky situation of course."
"I believe if he wants to make a better future for himself and go to another football team and make the team better, I wish him the best of luck," Harrisburg's Manuel Maldonado said.
