Gretna, VA - Two people fighting cancer on the Southside will benefit from an upcoming blood drive.
The Red Cross is holding the event on Saturday at West End Church of Christ in Gretna in honor of Claire Parker, the baby who has been battling leukemia for months at Duke University Medical Center and Theresa Dalton, a 22-year-old also undergoing treatment.
The drive is from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Donors can make an appointment by calling 1-800-RED CROSS or by going to their website.
