LANCASTER, Pa. (WHTM) -

Authorities will announce next week whether charges will be filed in the Christmas Eve shooting death of a Lancaster County baby.

District Attorney Craig Stedman said he expects the investigation into the death of 2-month-old Kestyn Davis will be completed this weekend.

Stedman has scheduled a Monday morning news conference to announce the findings of the investigation and his decision.

The infant girl died at a hospital after she was shot inside a home in the 2100 block of Old Philadelphia Pike in East Lampeter Township.

Officials said she was struck in the abdomen by a bullet fired from an adult family member's firearm.
