LINGLESTOWN, Pa. (WHTM) -

A personal trainer at a Dauphin County gym admitted to taking payments for fitness sessions and depositing them into his own account.

Susquehanna Township Police said they received a complaint regarding possible theft of gym fees.

Following an investigation, authorities charged 29-year-old Ryan Mackes of Timberview Drive with four counts of forgery and 10 counts of theft by failure to make required disposition of funds.

Mackes was a personal trainer who worked at Gold's Gym in Linglestown.

Police said he admitted to investigators that he had been depositing payments from personal fitness sessions into his own account since August of 2012.

He said the amount may be several thousand dollars that he stole from the gym.

Mackes will be arraigned at a later date.
