Middletown residents in need of heat during the extreme cold can seek shelter at the Middletown Volunteer Fire Department.
Mayor James Curry has directed the borough's Emergency Management Agency to make a warming station available for borough residents should they need emergency shelter due to a loss of heat, broken pipes, or other weather related problems.
The fire department is located at the corner of Adelia and East Emaus streets.
Residents needing shelter should call emergency management coordinator Tom Foreman at 717-810-7569 to make arrangements.
