Camp Hill police search for purse snatcher

CAMP HILL, Pa. (WHTM) -

Police are searching for a reported purse snatcher who stole a woman's bag at the Camp Hill Giant Food Store.

Officers with the Camp Hill Police Department were dispatched to Giant in the Camp Hill Shopping Center after receiving a report of a stolen purse.

According to authorities, a man wearing dark clothing entered the store and followed the female victim into the dairy aisle.

When the victim left her cart, the suspect grabbed her purse from the cart and ran from the store.

Police said the suspect is white, in his early 20s, clean shaven, approximately 5'6" to 5'10 and weighs around 140 to 150 lbs.
