Three Lancaster teenagers have been charged following an investigation into 26 thefts from vehicles in Manheim Township during the last two weeks.
Alexander Garcia Jr., 18, is accused of entering 14 unlocked vehicles and taking more than $2,000 in cash and property in the Cobblestone development on Dec. 27, according to township police.
Garcia, 18-year-old Maneir Alexander, and a 17-year-old were apprehended Jan. 3 after they entered two unlocked vehicles and attempted to enter 10 others in the same neighborhood, police said.
Garcia was charged with 26 counts of theft from a motor vehicle, while Alexander and the unnamed juvenile face 12 counts. Each faces an additional count of criminal conspiracy.
