Lynchburg, VA - An old Lynchburg sculpture is going to be re-done, with some fundraising help.
The Water Bearer Sculpture was put on the reservoir on Clay Street back in the 1880s.
The sculpture was made of zinc, but about a year ago collapsed under its own weight.
The Lynchburg Historical Foundation wants to make a replica of the water bearer to go on display.
The foundation still has to raise $12,000 to make the sculpture a reality.
The foundation will be talked about the sculpture Thursday night at their annual meeting at the First Presbyterian Church.
