Update:

Alabama State Troopers have released the name of the victim killed in a two-vehicle accident in Northport Thursday night.

Lisa Sartain, 45, of Northport, died and three others, including her child and husband, were injured after the Dodge Ram truck she was a passenger in collided with a Toyota Tacoma at mile marker three on Highway 171 around 7:30 p.m.

Both drivers, Michael Sartain and Jessie Hannah, both of Northport, were taken to DCH Regional Medical Center while Sartain's child was airlifted to Children's of Alabama in Birmingham. Their conditions are unknown at this time.

A two-vehicle accident in Northport Thursday night left one person dead and sent three others, including a child, to the hospital, fire and rescue officials said.

The fatal crash happened around 7:30 p.m. on Highway 171 near Tom Montgomery Road. A child injured in the wreck was airlifted to Children's of Alabama in Birmingham while the two other survivors were taken to DCH Regional Medical Center in Tuscaloosa. Their conditions are unknown at this time.

The victim killed in the accident hasn't been identified.

Alabama State Troopers continue to investigate.

    A federal judge is delaying his decision on an Alabama law that could close some abortion clinics.
