Light snow will coat some roadways this morning followed by a period of freezing rain through the morning hours.
A glaze of ice is possible this morning making for a potentially tricky commute. Remember, just because it looks like plain rain doesn't mean it won't freeze on contact with untreated surfaces. Temperatures will remain below freezing for much of the morning before climbing into the mid 30s this afternoon. The rest of the day will be overcast.
Showers redevelop tonight with areas of patchy freezing drizzle in spots that dip back to around 32 degrees overnight. Mild air and a good amount of moisture surge in ahead of a cold front for Saturday. Expect rain most of the day, some of it heavy, with highs in the 50s. About 0.75-1.00" of rain is expected region-wide. Sunday will bring about clearing and breezy conditions with a breezy afternoon expected. Stay safe on the roads this morning all!
