Accident Blocks Traffic in Roanoke County

Roanoke, Co., VA – A multi-vehicle accident in the area of Electric Road and Colonial Avenue has tied up traffic Wednesday.

Pictures sent to ABC 13 by MaDonna Justice show a red Ford pickup truck on its side.

Police report congestion and parts of the roads are expected to be closed for up into the early afternoon.

Traffic is moving in the area, police say, but very slow at times.

There is no word of any injuries as of this writing.

Officials urge drivers in the area to use alternate routes.
