Rocky Mount, VA - State Police say warrants have been taken out on a second man they say was involved in a violent home invasion that ended in a shootout.

Christopher Hardin, Jr., 34, is already charged.

A second suspect, still recovering from a gunshot wound in the hospital, is under guard and will be arrested upon his discharge.

Investigators have yet to release his name.

They say the man was wounded after the Franklin County homeowner fired on the intruders.

Deputies responding were also involved in the shooting.

One deputy, along with one of the suspects, was hurt.
