A 70-year-old Lebanon man accused of kidnapping a 9-year-old girl from inside her home last year was arrested again this week for stalking the child, city police said.
Willis Christ was standing on the front porch of the girl's home Monday afternoon before her mother told him to leave, police said in a news release Friday.
The mother then called police, who responded and took Christ into custody a short distance away.
Christ was out on bail from the original incident, but his bail was revoked after the stalking charge, police said.
The girl, who is now 10 years old, was not home at the time of the incident, police said.
Christ was initially arrested Sept. 30 after he allegedly dragged the girl out of her house in the 800 block of Walnut Street and took her to a nearby alley, where she was able to break free and escape unharmed, according to police.
Police said Christ apparently entered the home through an unlocked side door while the girl was getting ready for bed and her mother was upstairs, then grabbed her from behind and covered her mouth so she could not make any noise.
