RED LION, Pa. (WHTM) -

A worker was killed in an industrial accident Monday at the Red Lion Water Authority's pumping facility in Windsor Township.

Benedict Todt, 55, of Gardners, was installing an electrical switchbox when it fell on him and trapped him underneath, according to York Area Regional police.

Todt was an electrician for Lobar Inc. of Dillsburg and was working on an expansion project at the facility at 500 Gebhart Road, police said in a news release.

The box weighed more than 2,000 pounds and was not connected to any electricity at the time, police said.

York County Coroner Pam Gay said an autopsy would be performed Tuesday to determine the cause and manner of death.
