A woman died of hypothermia before her body was discovered in a wooded area of Lancaster County over the weekend, police said Monday.
State police in Lancaster identified the woman as 61-year-old Claudine Louise Murphy.
Her death has been ruled an accident.
Murphy was walking her dog near her home in the 300 block of Lauschtown Road in Brecknock Township on Saturday, and for an unknown reason she entered a wooded area where her body was found Sunday evening, police said.
An autopsy Monday found no visible signs of trauma, and showed that Murphy died of hypothermia, police said.
Officials results are pending toxicology tests.
