1 killed in crash on Routes 11/15 near New Buffalo

NEW BUFFALO, Pa. (WHTM) -

Police are investigating a fatal crash that closed Routes 11/15 near New Buffalo for several hours Tuesday.

Perry County Coroner Mike Shalonis said the driver of a pickup truck died in a crash with a tractor-trailer.

Shalonis said it appears the pickup turned into the path of the tractor-trailer.

The driver, an adult male, was not immediately identified.

The crash at around 10 a.m. closed the northbound and southbound lanes of Routes 11/15 between Motter Road and Old Trail Road, just north of New Buffalo.

The roadway reopened shortly after 2 p.m.
