Crews in Cumberland County responded to the scene of a water main break that caused issues for nearby residents' water supply.
Officials arrived at the scene on Fourth Street in East Pennsboro Township at around 6:30 p.m. for reports of a water main break.
Due to the weather and site conditions, authorities determined repairs would take longer than expected and would likely last into the night (between four and six hours).
The break resulted in low pressure or no water for parts of East Pennsboro Township. When service is restored, officials said customers could experience cloudy or discolored water.
If your water is discolored, wait until it runs clear before using. This should typically take only a few minutes.
