Bob Christmas Talks About Returning to JF

Bob Christmas is returning to Jefferson Forest for his second stint as head coach.

Christmas said by phone Wednesday from Georgia he's excited to come back and try to rebuild the program in a place he considers home.

Bob Christmas, RETURNING TO JF, said "Got two daughters that live there in Lynchburg and a son and his wife and my two grandchildren in Richmond.  And when I took the emotions out of it as far as leaving here, it was kind of a no-brainer to me.  I can't think of any other place I would want to leave here to go to other than Jefferson Forest."

Dennis Carter said "What do you feel like you will bring to this program to help turn it around?"

Christmas said "I'm going to work as hard as I've ever worked and require everyone around me to do the same.  So I think a lot of hard work and commitment and belief, I think we'll see some great results."

Coach Christmas says two of his assistant coaches will be former Glass head coach Richard Trent and Jake Grove, a JF alum, former Hokie standout and NFL player.
