JEFFERSON COUNTY, Ala. -- Two men suspected of robbing a bank inside a Bessemer Walmart Thursday morning have been charged with robbery, police said today.

Joshua Humphries, 36, of Sylvan Springs, and Micah Curry, 24, surrendered to police just a few hours after the two allegedly robbed the Woodforest National Bank inside the Walmart on Academy Drive. According to Bessemer police, the suspect stole $538 in cash from the bank before fleeing the scene.

Bonds for both men have been set at $60,000.

Prior to being charged for the Bessemer incident, Humphries was charged with first-degree robbery  in connection with a botch robbery attempt inside a Walmart on Red Farmer Drive in Hueytown. Just prior to the incident, a bomb threat was made at the store, forcing customers to evacuate the location. Humphries was also charged with making a terrorist threat.
