HARRISBURG, Pa. (WHTM) -

A Harrisburg woman was tasered and arrested after she assaulted a police officer at a Dauphin County hotel.

Susquehanna Township police said 24-year-old Kirstie Hall punched the officer several times Thursday afternoon at the Red Roof Inn.

Police had responded to a room of the hotel, at 400 Corporate Circle, for a report of a person who fell in the shower and needed EMS.

The room had a strong odor of marijuana and an occupant, 30-year-old Nathaniel Shannon, was in possession of pot and paraphernalia, police said.

Hall assaulted the officer as Shannon was being handcuffed, police said.

She was charged with aggravated assault on a police officer, terroristic threats, and disorderly conduct.

Her bail at Dauphin County Prison was set at $100,000.
