State Police: Missing Nelson Co. Man's Vehicle Found

UPDATE: 2:40 p.m.

Nelson Co., VA - State police say authorities have recovered Kevin Quick's silver 1999 Toyota 4-runner in Louisa County. 

In a press conference Monday, state police said the search for Quick remains an active investigation.

State police say a Louisa County Sheriff's Deputy found Quick's vehicle Monday. The vehicle is now being examined as evidence.

Local businesses are now offering a reward of up to $8,000 for information that leads to the discovery of Quick, state police said.

Nelson Co., VA - State Police have released some photos of a man they say have information about a missing Nelson County man.

Kevin Wayne Quick, 45, is also a captain with the Waynesboro Police Department. Quick was last seen late Friday night.

State Police say they've placed Quick's silver 1999 Toyota 4-runner in Fork Union on Friday and in the Manassas area Saturday.

Officials haven't said when or where the pictures were taken, only that the unknown man may know something about Quick's whereabouts.

Virginia State Police and Waynesboro Police Department will host a press conference at 2 p.m. to discuss the latest in the investigation.
