Utilities report 3,300 without electricity

HARRISBURG, Pa. (WHTM) -

Utilities reported about 3,300 customers were without electricity Monday afternoon as a winter storm began to move out of south-central Pennsylvania.

PPL said about 1,400 customers were without power in the area; including 660 in Lancaster County, 300 in Dauphin County, 230 in Cumberland County, and about 200 in Perry County.

First Energy companies reported about 1,800 outages; mostly in Franklin County where about 1,300 had lost service. More than 200 customers were affected in York County.
