The Midstate is bracing for another burst of snow, along with ice.
Meteorologist Eric Finkenbinder said that means very slick roads, and a tricky Wednesday morning commute.
"This has been the most active weather that we've had," he said. "Moving into the new month, we've seen the jet stream pattern change -- and this pattern looks to continue not just this week, but perhaps into mid-February."
There's also concern about power outages. Monday's 4-8 inches of snow is already weighing heavy on tree limbs, but PPL said the company has "all hands on deck."
"Our linemen are some of the best. They're like the Marines -- they like this kind of weather, they thrive on putting the system back together and they do it quickly and safely," PPL regional director Jim Nulton said. "They like to go out there and get it done."
If you lose power, PPL said you should report it right away.
