2 arrested for selling prescription pills in Elizabethtown

ELIZABETHTOWN, Pa. (WHTM) -

Two people have been arrested for selling prescription Oxycontin pills and other drug charges in Elizabethtown.

Jonathan P. Lauver, 41, of Mount Joy, and Cheryl A. Pheasant, 42, of Middletown, were arrested within 1,000 feet of a school zone during school hours Jan. 29, Elizabethtown police said in a news release Tuesday.

The two were also in possession of marijuana, other illegal narcotics and drug paraphernalia, police said.

Lauver had active bench warrants was placed in Lancaster County Prison on those warrants. He was also charged with delivery of a controlled substance and possession of prescription pills without a prescription.

Pheasant was released after she was charged with delivery of a controlled substance, possession of prescription pills without a prescription, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.
