A six-mile section of the Pennsylvania Turnpike has reopened following a crash that killed a truck driver and closed the toll highway for about 14 hours.
The eastbound and westbound lanes between the Harrisburg West Shore and Gettysburg Pike interchanges reopened shortly before 1:30 p.m. Wednesday.
Three tractor-trailers were involved in the chain-reaction crash that occurred near mile marker 338 in Cumberland County at around 11:30 p.m. Tuesday.
David E. Vanevery, 70, of Reading, was driving one of the trucks and died at the scene.
