HARRISBURG, Pa. (WHTM) -

A Harrisburg man has been sentenced to serve eight to 16 years in state prison for drug and gun crimes.

Geoffrey Reynolds, 53, received the sentence Monday.

Reynolds was arrested in 2011 by Paxtang police after he was caught with a handgun in the center console of his car.

He was not permitted to possess a gun because of prior weapon and drug convictions.

While the case was pending in court, authorities said Reynolds in December 2012 delivered cocaine to an undercover officer and was in possession of a second handgun.
