Investigators are unable to determine what caused a fire that destroyed a Lancaster County home early this morning.
Trooper Jerry Harper, a state police fire marshal, said because of the extensive damage the and imminent collapse of the home in Colerain Township, the investigation could not reveal the source.
The fire at 63 Bridle Path Road is not considered suspicious.
Harper said a coal stove and a wood burning stove were both in operation at the time of the fire, which started around 1:45 a.m. while the home was unoccupied.
Damage was estimated at approximately $350,000.
