NEWVILLE, Pa. (WHTM) -

A missing boy was found safe Wednesday morning after a massive overnight search.

Hunter Heffelfinger, 10, went missing from his home on Roxbury Road in Upper Mifflin Township, Cumberland County around 9 p.m. Tuesday. He was wearing only short, a tee-shirt and sneakers.

Police searched the area around his home for hours with no sign of him.  A state police helicopter was even called in to assist in the search.

Around 6:15 a.m. Wednesday police announced they had found Hunter safe at the post office in Upper Mifflin Township.  Police said they do not believe Hunter had spent the night outdoors.

They said Hunter ran away from his home after an argument.  They said he spent the night inside local businesses including a laundromat and senior center.
