Posted: Updated:

Jeffrey Wormley was found dead just inside the front door of his home. We know about his final hours, but we don't know who killed him. Birmingham police hope an anonymous call will help them solve this cold case.

"I'm Birmingham Police Chief A.C. Roper.

Jeffrey Wormley was killed back in February of 2010.

He was found lying on his back just inside the front door of his house. Wormley had been shot in the head.

His house was on the 3400 block of Willard Avenue Southwest. A neighbor said she heard five or six gunshots the night before Wormley was found. She said after the gunshots, she saw a black male walking down the victim's front steps toward Wilson Road. She did not recognize the man.
