Auburn football to begin spring practice on March 18

Posted: Updated:

Auburn football will return to the field March 18 for the start of spring practice.

The NCAA allows football programs 15 practices for coaches to work with players.

Auburn's annual A-Day game is scheduled for April 19.

The defending SEC Champions are expected to return six starters on defense and eight starters on offense, including quarterback Nick Marshall. It will be the first time in head coach Gus Malzahn's nine seasons as a college coach that he will have a returning starter at quarterback.

Auburn also announced that it will hold it's pro day for draft eligible players on March 4.
