A Franklin County man arrested for uploading suspected child pornography to his Facebook account also faces cruelty to animals charges, police said.

Larvene V. Wilson, 67, of Chambersburg, was taken into custody Wednesday when officers served a search warrant at his Tolbert Avenue home.

Chambersburg police said Facebook discovered a user had uploaded possible child pornography to their account.

The matter was turned over to authorities who determined Wilson was the Facebook account holder, police said.

Wilson's computer and other evidence was seized during the search warrant, and multiple additional counts of child pornography are expected to be filed against him, police said.

Police said the Humane Society also responded to the home due to the presence of numerous unhealthy and one dead animal.

Numerous animals were removed from Wilson's home and charges are expected to be filed against him for cruelty to animals, police said.
