Service has been restored to United Water customers who lost pressure after a water main break in Cumberland County this morning.
Customers in Mechanicsburg and portions of Hampden, Monroe and Silver Spring townships had service restored by 9:30 a.m.
However, United Water said repairing the 12-inch main is expected to take until early afternoon because of the severity of the break, which is related to the cold weather conditions.
A break happened at around 6 a.m. on Brackbill Road near Salem Church Road in Hampden Township.
United Water officials said there is no need for customers to boil their water.
