HARRISBURG, Pa. (WHTM) -

A Harrisburg man has been arrested for robbing people who came to the city to sell electronics they advertised on the Craigslist website.

Sharif White, 22, has so far been charged with three counts of robbery in the ongoing investigation, city police said in a news release Tuesday.

Police said they received multiple complaints from people who arranged to meet with a prospective buyer in Harrisburg, but were instead robbed of their electronics by White.

He was arrested last week and placed in Dauphin County Prison on $500,000 cash bail. His preliminary hearing is scheduled Feb. 24.

Anyone with information on similar incidents may call Harrisburg police at 717-255-3158.
