LANCASTER, Pa. (WHTM) -
Lancaster police said they arrested three Maryland men who apparently were trying to break into the Park City Center shopping mall.
Dwayne Daughtry, 20, Quinton Holliday, 28, and Brian Millhouse, 48, all of Baltimore, were each charged with attempted burglary, criminal conspiracy to commit
burglary, and criminal conspiracy to possess an instrument of crime, police said.
Police said the three were stopped early Tuesday after a mall security officer reported a white Jeep was driving without headlights at the mall and in the parking lots of other businesses in the area, and the occupants had attempted to open an employee/contractor entrance at the Bon-Ton store.
Officers during the stop saw a black bag with two pry bars in the
back of the Jeep, another black bag with a wig, and Daughtry lying down across the rear seat, police said.
Daughtry was additionally charged with tampering with evidence after he placed a blue latex glove in his mouth as if he were going to
swallow it, police said. He spit out the glove after numerous commands to do so.
