A 17-year-old girl was charged with attempted burglary and other counts after she caused $500 in damage to Manheim Township High School, police said.
Township police said officers were dispatched to the school at around 4:23 a.m. Saturday for a report that someone was throwing rocks at the windows.
Arriving officers arrested the teen, who had previously been barred from the property, police said.
Authorities said she damaged two windows during her unsuccessful attempt to get into the school.
Her name was not released.
In addition to attempted burglary, she was charged with criminal trespass and institutional vandalism and turned over to the Youth Intervention Center.
