Outlet store robbed at gunpoint

LANCASTER, Pa. (WHTM) -

Police are looking for the man who robbed a Lancaster County outlet store at gunpoint Sunday evening.

East Lampeter Township police said the man robbed the Converse Outlet Store in Tanger Outlets as two female employees were preparing to close for the day just after 6 p.m.

He was last seen exiting through the front door with cash from the register.

Neither employee was injured.

The suspect was described as a heavyset black male, about 50-55 years old, 6'1" tall, 260 pounds, with unshaven black and gray facial hair, police said. He was wearing a navy beanie and black puffy coat.

Anyone with information is asked to call Detective Sergeant Brian Cloonan of East Lampeter Township police at 717-291-4676.
