Police have arrested two men accused of passing counterfeit $100 bills at Harrisburg area stores.
News releases from Susquehanna Township police and West Shore Regional police identified the suspects as 19-year-old Joshua Deeley and 20-year-old Kyle Marshall.
West Shore Regional police said more than $4,100 of counterfeit currency was recovered throughout the investigation.
Authorities believe Deeley and Marshall are responsible for a fake $100 bill that was passed at a Lemoyne business on Feb. 1.
Susquehanna Township police said the two are also suspected in incidents where purchases with counterfeit bills were attempted at Gabriel Brothers in the Union Square Plaza and at a Weis Markets store, also on Feb. 1.
In both cases, the bill were denied.
A third man, 22-year-old Tyshawn McDonald of Harrisburg, is being sought in connection with the Susquehanna Township incidents, police said.
