Chambersburg man charged in 2 DUI crashes

CHAMBERSBURG, Pa. (WHTM) -

A Chambersburg man was arrested on DUI and other charges Friday after he fled a crash that injured one person and caused another that injured three others.

Tyler J. Wyatt, 21, was traveling north on Potomac Street at a high rate of speed Friday night when his Ford truck struck a Mazda Protege driven by Craig Deross at the intersection of West Main Street, borough police said.

Deross was treated and released from Waynesboro Hospital.

Wyatt continued on N. Potomac Street before he lost control in the 600 block and struck a parked 2003 Honda occupied by Matthew A. Sanders and two passengers, police said.

The occupants of the Honda had minor injuries, police said.

Wyatt was charged with DUI, accident involving damage to an attended vehicle, accident involving death or injury, and recklessly endangering.
