Latest Update: 3/3/14 4:30AM
The second wave of this winter storm is pushing the action just south of our region. While some spots picked up a little more snow overnight, accumulations were generally minimal, but enough to make for some slick spots. The brunt of the this storm will be south of the PA/MD line through the morning hours.
Our region stay cloudy as the snow winds down and more Arctic air invades. Expect clearing skies into this afternoon with that northerly wind keeping temperatures in the lower 20s. That will be very cold for March, but those layering up should remember that the same cold air prevented another widespread snowfall from hitting the Commonwealth. We actually have rush of cold air to thank or blame for missing out on this snow depending on your perspective. Lows tonight should plummet to sub-zero in many locations for hopefully the last time this season.
Warmer air arrives by the end of this week.
