Police report 4th burglary of vacant Lemoyne house

LEMOYNE, Pa. (WHTM) -

West Shore Regional Police are investigating a fourth incident in recent weeks where copper was stolen from a vacant Lemoyne home.

In the latest burglary reported Friday night, several pieces of cooper pipe were removed from a house in the 400 block of Herman Avenue, causing water damage in the basement, police said.

The break-in occurred sometime after Feb. 21, police said.

Another incident was reported Friday in the 300 block of Herman Avenue, where someone kicked in the back door of a vacant property, removed copper pipe and left water running in the basement sometime after Feb. 19, police said.

Similar crimes have occurred in the 600 block of Bosler Avenue and the 800 Block of Hummel Avenue.
