A man found bleeding in the parking lot of a Lancaster County hotel was stabbed by a woman because of text messages on his phone, according to police.
East Lampeter Township police said the man was staying at the Red Carpet Inn with 39-year-old Ursula Bowman when she became angry over the text messages and stabbed him in the forearm with a knife early Sunday.
The unidentified victim refused medical treatment.
Bowman, of Parkesburg, was taken into custody and charged with domestic violence simple assault.
She was committed to Lancaster County Prison on $25,000 bail.
