Police: Man assaulted girlfriend, threatened officer

CARLISLE, Pa. (WHTM) -

A Carlisle man is facing charges for assaulting his girlfriend and threatening the officer who arrested him, according to police.

Middlesex Township police said Kevin Robinson was wanted for assaulting his girlfriend while in Hampden Township when they took him into custody at a motel Sunday.

Robinson was placed into the rear of a patrol car and began kicking the door and making threats toward the officer, police said.

He was charged by Hampden Township police with simple assault and harassment. Middlesex Township police charged him with disorderly conduct.
