Thanks for the Run!

Thanks for the Run!

The 10th Annual Brenda Ladun Conquer Cancer Run was a huge success. Thank you to Kristin Berney at the American Cancer Society and the Junior Executive Board of the ACS.

The sponsors were all generous. Everyone at St. Vincent's One Nineteen rolled out the red carpet for the runners. The weather was perfect... The crowd was supportive and encouraged the runners were fired up. There were a lot of smiles and laughter.

There were cupcakes, bagels, cookies and sandwiches.

People who have lived through the trauma of cancer were there to get and give encouragement.

Love and hope filled the air along with the sound of chatter, laughter and sneakers pounding on the pavement.

We raised almost $93,000 dollars to help fight cancer.

Be afraid cancer, be very afraid.

God bless you all!

Brenda
