Pastors hit the court for scholarships

Several pastors from the Birmingham-area will hit the court March 6-8 during the SIAC Basketball Championship.  They are competing to win scholarships for their church members to attend a SIAC institution.

The Pastors' Challenge will take place during halftime of the evening basketball games on Thursday, March 6 and Friday, March 7 at the Bill Harris Arena in the Birmingham CrossPlex.  Winners from Thursday advance to play on Friday in another round. Those winners will move to the finals Saturday, March 8, the last day of the tournament.

"The Pastors' Challenge is another opportunity to engage the community in tournament activities while encouraging students to apply, enroll and complete college. We want to see more students enrolling in our SIAC member institutions," says SIAC Commissioner Gregory Moore.
