PALMYRA, Pa. (WHTM) -

Police are looking for a man who demanded a woman's car keys at the Palmyra Shopping Center.

Borough police said the man first asked the woman for a ride when he approached her in the parking lot of the Weis Markets at around 2 p.m. Thursday.

He demanded her keys when she turned him down, and when she refused him again he made statements about having a gun, police said in a news release.

The 51-year-old woman still refused to hand over her keys and the man fled the parking lot in a black pickup truck that was last seen on N. Duke Street, police said.

He was described as a white man in his 40's, 6'1" tall, with a thin build, dark wavy hair, and a dark thin mustache. He was said to be wearing a light colored shirt and desert camouflage pants, police said.

The pickup truck had a long bed and a dark-colored rollbar with two off-road lights mounted on top, but the make and model are unknown.

Anyone with information may call Palmyra police at 717-838-8189.
