MECHANICSBURG, Pa. (WHTM) -

The owner of Molly's Place Rescue is headed to trial on charges she was illegally operating the no-kill animal shelter in Hampden Township, Cumberland County.

Lori Jean Johnston, 47, of Mechanicsburg, was held for court on 204 criminal counts during a preliminary hearing Monday, according to court records.

Johnston allegedly acquired and transferred several dogs after her license was revoked in November.

The state Department of Agriculture's dog law enforcement office charged her with 113 counts Jan. 22 and 91 additional counts Feb. 4.

Her formal arraignment is scheduled May 22.
