Two incidents where homes were damaged by shotgun fire in North York appear to be connected, but the homes appear to have been randomly chosen, according to police.
Northern York County Regional police said the homes in the 600 block of North George Street were struck by rounds from a 20-gauge shotgun at around 2 a.m. Monday.
Both homes have damage to either rear windows or doors and both were occupied at the time of the shootings, police said.
One of the homes was shot from the area of Albright Avenue and the second was shot at fairly close range, police said.
No one was injured.
