LANCASTER, Pa. (WHTM) -

A Lancaster man has been jailed on charges stemming from a road rage incident where he allegedly pulled a gun on another driver, according to police.

Javon Matthew Caldwell, 21, tried to pass four vehicles on New Holland Pike Saturday night, then cut off one of the drivers because of oncoming traffic, East Lampeter Township police said.

When Caldwell and the victim stopped for a red light at Geist Road, the victim approached Caldwell's white Honda Civic. Caldwell threatened the man and pointed a handgun at his face, police said.

Caldwell was stopped on Lititz Pike in Manheim Township and was found to have an infant child in his vehicle and a pellet pistol that looked like a real gun, police said.

He was committed to Lancaster County Prison on $25,000 bail for charges of simple assault, terroristic threats and careless driving.
