PennDOT has lowered the speed limit near the roundabouts in Linglestown, Dauphin County from 35 mph to 25 mph.
According to PennDOT officials, the change of speed is due to a study conducted by Lower Paxton Township at the request of State Representative Ron Marsico.
Marsico said that in the few years since the Linglestown Road project was completed, his office has been flooded with complaints of drivers going too fast around the circles.
The change will not congest traffic, according to PennDOT, and it will help prevent speed-related crashes.
